Letter regarding lace-wing infestation of sycamore at Montezuma Castle National Monument. This letter is in response to the submission of "infested foliage from sycamore at MNCM" to entomologists at the Bureau of Entomology and Plant Quarantine in Fort Collins, CO. They found that the leaves were heavily infested with Sycamore lace-wing and that they contained holes caused by the feeding of another insect. They suggested the use of DDT or chlordane to control both pests.
