The influence of various physical factors on percent ground surface cover of creosote bush scrub and saltbush scrub species was studied at Soda Lake, San Bernardino County, California. Correlations were used to determine the amount of influence each factor had on each of seven selected species. The factors were found to have the greatest influence were salinity, pH, and soil texture.
