The cactus wren Campylorhynchus brunneicapillus is an insectivorous bird which builds nests in larger desert shrubs and cacti, most notably cholla cacti in the Mojave Desert. The nests of these wrens were studied with respect to how their inside temperature and humidity differed from the outside environment.
