This paper analyzes surface activity and burrowing characteristics of scorpions in relation to temperature fluctuations. Trends of surfacing by Paruroctonus mesaensis in early hours of evening were observed as well as burrowing in early morning hours when temperatures fell dramatically. No significance was found in relation to eccritic temperatures and measured preferred temperatures.
