Millet seed digestibility by the insectivorous side-blotched lizard Uta stansburiana
Huard N. 1993. Millet seed digestibility by the insectivorous side-blotched lizard Uta stansburiana
The author force-fed millet seed (Panicum miliaceum) to the insectivorous side-blotched lizard (Uta stansburiana) to determine its digestibility. Seeds with hulls intact were shown to have a slightly higher digestibility than seeds with hulls removed.
