This guidance document provides information for Federal Land Managers, air quality permitting authorities, and air quality permit applicants to use when assessing the potential impacts of new or modified pollution sources to sensitive resources on protected federal lands. Technical analyses and recommendations for evaluating impacts of pollution on visibility, ozone, and deposition are a major focus of the report. The effects of air pollution on aquatic and terrestrial resources are also discussed. FLAG 2010 was jointly prepared by the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency.
