Expected effects of climate change on bioaccumulation of methylmercury in the Great Lakes Region
Sandheinrich M and Rolfhus K. 2010. Expected effects of climate change on bioaccumulation of methylmercury in the Great Lakes Region. Pages 46. In Western Great Lakes Research Conference. St. Paul, Minnesota. March 16-17, 2010. University of Minnesota. St. Paul, Minnesota
Predicted changes in climate (anthropogenic warming of the atmosphere) will likely increase the bioaccumulation of methylmercury. Increased levels may be deleterious to the health of some populations of fish and wildlife within the Great Lakes region.
