Brief summary of inventory project at MOCA. Findings from the inventory include 1) historic photos showing changes since the late 1800s; 2) desert riparian and upland vegetation community classification and mapping; 3) discovery of new aquatic invertebrate species at Montezuma Well; 4) documentation of state-listed sensitive fish in Monument streams; 5) detailed description of the bird community; and 6) discovery of a new rodent and bat and documentation of the loss of several mammal species.
