Brief Description: This soil survey contains information that affects land use planning Full Description: This soil survey is a publication of the National Cooperative Soil Survey, a joint effort ofthe United States Department of Agriculture and other Federal agencies, State agenciesincluding the Agricultural Experiment Stations, and local agencies. The NaturalResources Conservation Service (formerly the Soil Conservation Service) has leadershipfor the Federal part of the National Cooperative Soil Survey. This survey was madecooperatively by the Natural Resources Conservation Service; the United StatesDepartment of the Interior, National Park Service; and the Regents of the University ofCalifornia (Agricultural Experiment Station).Major fieldwork for this soil survey was completed in 2005. Soil names anddescriptions were approved in 2006. Unless otherwise indicated, statements in thispublication refer to conditions in the survey area in 2005. The most current official dataare available on the Internet.
