A study done on culverts and other infrastructure that are impairing hydrologic/geomorphic function in six Project Areas in Point Reyes National Seashore. This report describes the methods and results of a delineation of wetlands and deepwater habitats for the Coastal Watershed Restoration Program Culvert Replacement Project (Project). This Project is being proposed by Point Reyes National Seashore (Seashore), s unit of the National Park Service (Park Service), in efforts to improve conveyance of stream flow through road culverts and thereby remove impediments to passage of anadromous fish. The Delineation Study Area incorporates six (6) separate stream crossing areas (Project Areas) and is located generally in the northeastern and southwestern portions of the Seashore. The goal of this study was to map and describe areas within the Delineation Study Area potentially subject to Park Service Director’s Order #77-1, some of which may also be subject to oversight by the California Coastal Commission under the federal Coastal Zone Management Act.
