A Big Thicket Environmental Curriculum incorperating existing studies was designed for secondary students and field tested in a 6 day camp. This project increased insight into the value of the Big Thicket, assessed factors contributing to its destruction, and gave youth opportunities to actively demonstrate conservation measures while exploring solutions to the problems.
