This report summarizes data from the 2009 field season of amphibian community monitoring at Cumberland Island National Seashore. Data were collected at 30 spatially-balanced random locations at the park with two techniques: automated recording devices and visual-encounter surveys. Sampling activities occurred at the park from 4/6/2009 to 4/16/2009, and again from9/9/2009 to 10/2/2009. We detected 1240 amphibians in 14 species, genera, families, or orders, and 452 reptiles and reptile signs in 13 species, genera, families, or orders. No non-native amphibians or reptiles were observed.
