This report details the outcome of an archeological survey of a seismic line, approximately 12,879 feet in length, within the Beaumont Unit of the Big Thicket National Preserve, Hardin County, Texas, conducted for Weems Geophysical, Inc. The pedestrian survey of the geophysical seismic line was conducted by Roger G. Moore and Donita Burton for Moore Archeological Consulting on August 22-24, 1994 with Saul Aronow conducting a stimultaneous geomorphological study of the seismic alignment area. Shovel tests and probes were excavated at each shot hole locality and surface exposures were examined. No cultural resources were found in the course of the survey, and no further investigations are recommended.
