In the 1998 call for technical assistance, the Preserve requested Geological Resources Division to conduct an evaluation of oil and gas operations and provide management recommendations. During the period of August 17-21, Jim Woods and Pat O'Dell visited Big Thicket. The summary report that follows describes general observations and recommendations while the appendix provides site-specific information.
