This zip file contains the multibeam backscatter files from the 2009 benthic mapping work done by the Center for Habitat Studies, Moss Landing Marine Laboratories for the National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area. These multibeam backscatter files are useful in interpreting seafloor induration and texture. It is not necessary to download these files to view the rest of the GIS dataset (which is contained in a separate zip file named BenthicMapping_GOGA_Disc1_GISdata.zip).
