This Statement for Management lists four management objectives: 1) Improve the quality of the visitor's experience; 2) To minimize the impacts on the monument created by development and/or use of lands surrounding the monument; 3) Monitor the condition of archeological and natural resources and restrict public use, modify management practices and otherwise eliminate conditions having adverse effects on them; and 4) To provide for visitor use facilities, management facilities, and programs necessary to meet public needs and protect park resources.
