The Missouri bladderpod monitoring protocol guides monitoring of this threatened plant atWilson’s Creek National Battlefield. The monitoring protocol is designed to achieve twoobjectives:1. Track changes in the abundance, distribution, and persistence of the Missouri bladderpodthrough time at Bloody Hill Glade, Manley Woods Glade, North Bloody Hill Glade,Northwest Bloody Hill Glade, Terrell Creek Glade, Walnut Glade, and Wire Road Glade.2. At Bloody Hill Glade, track changes in plant density in relation to exotic plant cover,photosynthetically active radiation, and Eastern redcedar basal area at the 25 m2 scale.The Heartland Inventory and Monitoring Network will monitor the Missouri bladderpodannually. Following monitoring, the project manager will prepare a report detailing the status ofthe Missouri bladderpod at Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield.
