An annual report on the most recent air quality conditions and trends in NPS units. For 1999–2008, 241 NPS units have enough data to report on air quality indicators. Of these, 97% showed stable or improving trends in visibility, 100% showed stable or improving trends in ozone concentration, and 93% showed stable or improving trends in atmospheric deposition of sulfate, nitrate, and ammonium.
