In 1996 and 1997, funding was allocated from the Southeastern Regional Natural Resource Fund to provide assistance to NPS Parks in the Appalachian Cluster for the management of invasive exotic plants. In 1999 funding was allocated from the National Resource Preservation Program to continue this work. This report summarizes the efforts of 12 NPS Units to control invasive exotic plants in FY 2000.
