The 2007 “season” was a very successful one in terms of project accomplishment for the Great Smoky Mountain Fire Use Module (GRSM FUM). The module was assigned five parks for primary support this season (GUIS, HOBE, LIRI, GRSM, and KIMO), and it provided project planning, burn implementation, NFPORS accomplishment reporting, and 2008 NFPORS project funding requests for these parks.
