Selected analyses are reported for January – March 2008 for lower Moraine Park and May - December 2008 in a ca. 64 km2 study area of the Wild Basin watershed. For Moraine Park, we conducted 6 km of intensive sign surveys using Line-Transect (Distance) methods following Augeri (2005, 2007) and 8 weeks of intensive camera trapping following Augeri (2005, 2007). For Wild Basin, we used the same methods and conducted 32 km of intensive sign surveys and 10 weeks of intensive camera trapping, which included a 20% stratified-random sample of sites designed and baited specifically to attract and trap wolves.
