This project involves the development of habitat maps for 4 federally-listed fish species in the Obed Wild and Scenic River (OBRI) utilizing GPS-based underwater video mapping and image georeferencing techniques. GIS habitat maps were developed throughout the full extent of OBRI. A kayak-mounted underwater video mapping system was used to determine georeferenced estimates of above water river characteristics, substrate, depth, and embeddedness.
