Brief Description: Report summarizing restoration monitoring activitiesin Glacier NP from the 2009 field season, focused on plant monitoring of impacted sites and monitoring of vegetation communities of park management interest (i.e. whitebark/limber pine). Full Description: The objectives of this report are to document the results of the 2009 season. The report includes: (1) data from six revegetation projects (Apgar Transit Center, Camas Road – Hydromulch, West Glacier Bike Path, Lake McDonald Lodge dorm site, West Entrance Station, and GTSR road project 303-F); (2) year one results of herbicide impacts at two sites in weed treatment-revegetation projects; (3) results from whitebark and limber pine restoration projects; (4) results from whitebark and limber pine plus tree monitoring; (5) summary of blister rust surveys conducted in the park; (6) assessments of vegetation and weeds at transit stops; and (7) overall recommendations for the monitoring program, including a schedule for future monitoring.
