The National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping flew fixed-wing aircraft and collected lLIDAR data in the Wawona area of Yosemite National Park on August 10 and 13, 2010. Pixel size is 1 x 1 meters while vertical resolution is about 0.15 meters. The data was then used to create a bare earth digital elevation model (DEM) of the surface with all above ground objects (vegetation, buildings) removed or filtered out.
