This study will analyze the home range of dispersed juvenile red fox, Vulpes vulpes, from a barrier island ecosystem. Eleven juvenile red fox will be captured and equipped with a radiocollar beginning in June, 1991. They will be tracked with radiotelemetry until the end of May, 1992, at which time they should have established their adult home range. Specialattention will be given to dispersal and recovery distance, direction and timing, and establishment of an adult home range.
