Wetlands Delineation in Park Developed Areas (2001)
Richard Menicke. 2001. Wetlands Delineation in Park Developed Areas (2001)
Jurisdictional wetlands, as defined by the Army Corps of Engineers, were delineated within park developed areas in 2001 by John DeArment, a contractor working through the University of Montana. The draft Visitor Service Zone provided the area within which surveys and delineations occured. Wetland delineations portrayed in GIS are coarse approximations of the actual extent of the wetland areas, due to source data. A related GIS layer (Survey Sites.shp) shows those areas that were surveyed for wetlands.
