The objectives and methods for a vascular plant and herpetofaunal inventory of San Antonio Missions National Historic Park (SAAN) including the Rancho de las Cabras site, are outlined in a cooperative agreement between the National Park Service (NPS) and The Nature Conservancy signed in July 2001. Herpetofaunal inventory at Padre Island National Seashore (PAIS) and Palo Alto Battlefield National Historic Site (PAAL) is also the subject of this agreement. The agreement specifies that work accomplished will be reported on a quarterly basis. This report is the fifth quarterly report on the progress of this inventory, covering September 2002 through November 2002. The next report will address the months of December through February.
