This report has been developed to accompany the digital geologic map produced by Geologiic Resources Inventory staff for Pu‘ukoholā Heiau National Historic Site (Hawaii). It contains information relevant to resource management and scienitfic research. Park specific geologic issues, geologic features and processes, a brief geologic history, and a map unit properties table that identifies and describes the resource characteristics of map units in the park area, are included in this report.
