During 2008 a project was developed to map the infestations of Phragmites australis occurring on the island and to initiate a three year management program based on these initial findings. The operations consisted of aerial and ground based mapping of infestations, aerial spraying of 185 acres of infestations, and monitoring of the effects of aerial spraying. This report chronicles these events.
