This data set contains all the roads in Yellowstone National Park (YNP) and includes service roads, residential roads and roads within developed areas. The roads are represented by line segments with attributes attached to them. Attributes include: type, surface, speed limit, the date that the road segment was surveyed and the surveyor's name, type of survey, full name, alternate name, and functional classification. Data was obtained either by heads- up digitizing using 1- Meter or less DOQQS, 7.5' USGS DRGs, Federal Highways surveys or using a differentially corrected GPS. Original survey completed in 1997, roads are updated and corrected as needed.
