Laguna A State 233, #1 (012241): Well sign bears correct operator name. Unpermitted pit (80' X 40' X 3') is located to the south of the compressor area. A hole was dug 20' west of the compressor area to a depth of 40". A strong smell of hydrocarbon was detected. An additional pit noted at the tank battery (60' X 140' X 4') is located approximately 225' north of the separator and meter run pad. A 12" line is noted from the meter run pad to the pit. An area dug inside the pit 6 - 12 inches below ground produced a rainbow sheen on the water in the pit. correspondence requesting an extension of time for sampling, delineating contamination, and submitting a remediation plan has been received by this office. Dunn McCampbell -A-, #6 (097099): Railroad Commission records indicate the well is an active disposal well. Mechanical integrity test is due in 1997.
