This morning I spoke with Brad Pierce, AmX, as per his telephone call. He was calling to determine if AmX were to submit a new Letter of Credit with the verbiage of the June 12 letter prepared by Rob Eaton and signed by Pat McCrary, would the NPS release and return the $200,000.00 seized when the original letter of credit expired May 31, 1997. I told him that if AmX would send the park a new letter of credit with the new wording we would release the $200,000.00 to AmX. We also discussed the continuing problem with security of the facility and the condition of the gate and fence. Brad stated he would call a local contractor to secure the facility in the interest of both the NPS and Amx.
