The objectives of this study were: to delineate the shallow stratigraphic sequence of the inner continental shelf adjacent to Ocean City; to analyze and map textural trends of the sediment to evaluate potential sources of sand and gravel within the study area; and to organize and compile all data into a usable database for further study and future reference.
