We have been advised that American Exploration took over operation from Oryx oil Co., at Murdock Pass located within Padre Island National Seashore. This is to advise that one of our requirements in the change of ownership is that the new owner take down the past owner's sign and properly identify the well site with the new owner's sign. We also need the names and telephone numbers of people to contact in case emergency conditions develop. American Exploration should contact Chief Ranger Steve Adams at the Gulf Ranger Station, (512) 949-8173, 24 hours in advance when work crews and equipment are to be taken to the site. Ranger Adams or Resources Management Specialist John Miller will be your principal contacts in most routine field operations and compliance activities. It may be an advantage for your field staff and mine to meet at some time in the near future for the purpose of reviewing our regulations and operational procedures.
