The Mining and Minerals Branch has informed us that they find the previously approved Plan of Operations for the Murdock Pass and North Murdock Pass (Sun Exploration and Production Company) to be acceptable for ratification by American Exploration Company. However, American Exploration Company is requested to submit supplemental information to satisfy a few deficiencies. We feel that American Exploration Company needs to provide the information discussed below to afford the National Park Service increased assurance that the operations will be conducted and reclaimed in a manner to protect the Seashore's resources and values.
