Hunter JD. 1990. To: Quiroga R. Re: Hunter_1990_ThanksForProfessionalMannerOfContaminationCleanup

I have been informed by my staff that on May 27, a compressor shut down on the Dunn-McCampbell (A-4) salt water injection well. I understand that, as a result of the equipment failure, approximately 20 barrels of brine and condensate were spilled onto the well pad and a small area of adjacent grass land. We feel that further contamination was prevented because of the quick and timely actions of Mr. John Gunn, the gauger for that particular well. I would like to commend American Exploration Company for the professional manner in which this situation was handled. It is always a pleasure to work with individuals and companies that are environmentally sensitive. Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to Mr. Gunn
