Effective December 1. 1989, American Exploration Company obtained ownership trom Oryx Energy Company of properties located on Padre Island National Seashore, specifically the Dunn McCampbell NAN and laguna Madre St. A-233 leases. At this time, American Exploration Company requests approval from the Padre Island National Seashore of its adoption of Oryx's Plan of Operations in accordance with 36 CFR (9.36). The plan was originally approved by the National Park Service on March 15, 1984. Also, enclosed is American Exploration Company's notarized Affidavit of Compliance and a Two Hundred Thousand Dollar ($200,000) Irrevocable Letter of Credit No. P0636214 as security satisfying the performance bond requirements of 36 CFR (9.48) regulations.
