Thematic Mapper (TM) 5 and TM7 scenes were used to create this true color image mosaic for Wrangell St- Elias National Park and Preserve. Wrangell St- Elias Image Mosaic. Imagery used to create this mosaic : TM5 scenes path/row 63/16-18 August 5, 1999 and 65/16-18 August 3, 1999 ; TM7 scenes path/row 61/18 July 14, 1999 ; 63/17-18 August 31,2000; 64/16-17 August 4, 1999; 64/16-17 September 10, 2001; and 67/16-17 August 1, 2002. The mosaic was created using bands 3-red, 2-green,and 1-blue and results in a true color image of the Park. The TM image data was sampled for a 30m pixel. The final mosaic is provided in Alaska Albers format (NAD27). The mosaic was projected to NAD83 using GeoExpress 6. The mosaic is useful down to approximately 1:80,000. The expected geometric accuracy of the product is ± 100m
