Attached is a revised site characterization plan for the Yarborough Pass facility. The information presented illustrates the steps to be taken to determine if any contamination exist at the site. The plan includes: Work plan (including Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP) Health and Safety Plan (HASP) Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) The project area has been enlarged to include the entire fenced area, and the list of potential contaminates to be analyzed has been expanded. These revisions were made to address the concerns of the National Park Service. This revised site characterization plan is presented to the National Park Service subject to the assertions made by American Exploration Company in its letter dated April 27, 1994 to Oryx Energy Company relative to the ownership of the Yarborough Pass facility. American reserves the right to contest jurisdiction of the National Park Service over American as the party responsible for the Yarborough Pass facility.
