Dodd HR, Bowles DE, Mueller SK, Clark MK. 2011. Fish community monitoring at Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield: 2006-2007, 2010 status report. Natural Resource Data Series. NPS/HTLN/NRDS—2011/176. National Park Service, Natural Resource Stewarship and Science. Fort Collins, Colorado

In 2006, 2007 and 2010, fish communities, water quality, and physical habitat were sampled at Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield (WICR). Based on our data, the fish communities within the three streams at WICR were found to be diverse with good biotic integrity. However, the high quality fish community in Wilson’s Creek is likely due to anthropogenic disturbances as well as abiotic factors.
