The purpose of this study is to describe the current woody vegetation of the Jockey Hollow section of Morristown National HIstorical Park, to analyze the successional trends evident in the vegetation, and to describe the pre-settlement vegetation and the land-use history in the area. The information is presented in the technical report and on four maps (at a scale of 1:6,000), three of which show th edistributions of the plant communities in the Park, and the fourth of which depcits the historical aspects of the natural and cultivated vegetation.
