Sun proposes to amend our Special Use Permit to construct a new well-service road for better access to our Dunn- McCampbell A-3 location. Dune migration over the existing access which has become increasingly more difficult to maintain prompts our request to construct a new 12-feet wide double layer board foundation road. The foundation will be covered with six (6) inches of caliche and packed to approximately three (3) inches. Archaeological and environmental surveys have been conducted over the proposed route and indicate minimal or no adverse impacts resulting from this new access. Copies of these surveys as well as plats are enclosed for your review.
