Goals: ♦ To foster aclear common understanding of civic engagement and the wide range of opportunities it offers park managers and interpreters. ♦ To provide tools and strategies for civic engagement that can be used in parks within the NER to support our goals in Interpretation &Education, and other areas of park management. ♦ To help participants to build on the base of their current activities to enhance their success with civic engagement. ♦ To model, through the workshop, exemplary tools and approaches to civic engagement.
