The purpose of this modification under the Great Lakes-Northern Forest Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit is to establish a working relationship between the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry and the Northeast Temperate Network (NETN) to identify, organize, synthesize, and summarize existing monitoring programs and pertinent research occurring adjacent to or within the 11 Network Parks. This project is regional in scope, will be conducted on multiple park units, and will advance the Network in developing a Vital Signs monitoring program for parks within the Network.
