A vascular plant inventory was conducted at George Washington Carver National Monument in autumn, 2002 in an effort to re-document the plant taxa originally collected in the late 1950’s by Ernest J. Palmer. The Monument is represented by 645 distinct taxa with the Asteraceae, Poaceae, Cyperaceae, and Fabaceae comprising the most taxa.
