The overall objective of this research was to map the vegetation change in the greater EFMO area over a period of 60 years and analyze possible anthropogenic impacts based on image interpretation and landscape metrics. Specific objectives include: 1. Spatial identification and quantitative assessment of land use changes from natural or semi-natural vegetation types to non-native vegetation over a period of 60 years. 2. Examine potential causes of these changes. 3. Analyze landscape metrics for selected vegetation types.
