In order that NPS managers may have available the best natural resource information, it is envisioned that multiple natural resource monitoring projects may be undertaken between NPS and VINS under this agreement. Currently, there is a need to develop a comprehensive breeding bird inventory database to aid in making decisions regarding the long-term management of the cultural landscape that makes up nearly the entire 148 acre property. Subsequent natural resource inventory projects that would fall under the mission and experience of VINS, would be included as amendments to this agreement.
