This is the second annual Inventory and Monitoring report for Gateway National Recreation Area's Jamaica Bay Unit. The Jamaica Bay Unit includes: the Breezy Point District including Fort Tilden, the Jamaica Bay District (Floyd Bennett Field) and the Wildlife Refuge District (Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge). The objective of this report is to provide staff, volunteers, interns and researchers in all divisions of the park accurate and current natural resource information and to serve as an inclusive bound document for future reference. It is hoped that this document will be referred to by staff of all divisions of the park to help maintain a current awareness of natural resources occurrences. The data presented in this report are broken down into three sections: inventories, monitoring data, and study updates and conclusions.
