The objectives of this report are to quantify existing acoustic conditions in Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and provide results that can be used for park planning. Two years of monitoring data from six sites in Sequoia and Kings Canyon were analyzed. These data quantify current acoustic conditions for a variety of vegetation zones and seasons in backcountry locations.
