This annual report details the status of key stream channel characteristics and riparian attributes obtained from the first season of monitoring in the John Day River within the Sheep Rock unit of John Day Fossil Beds National Monument (JODA). Data from the 2010 field sampling effort was collected following methods detailed in the UCBN stream channel characteristics and riparian condition monitoring protocols (Starkey et al. 2011, Starkey et al. 2010) and the United States Forest Service- PACFISH/INFISH Biological Opinion (PIBO) peer reviewed protocols (Heitke et al. 2009, Leary and Ebertowski 2010).
